The Furrytails Difference
My name is Sarah and I have been a dog groomer for 13 years now. I have a Level 3 in Animal Management, Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification and my CAPG qualification.
​
When I was 19 I opened up my first salon in Clayton, where I stayed for a couple of years before shutting up and becoming a teacher of dog grooming at The College of Animal Welfare in Leeds.

I then decided I wanted to go back to grooming full time where I started towing around a 10ft dog grooming trailer going house to house.
​
During Covid I trained to be a nail technician and have been doing that part time alongside my grooming.
​
Now I have opened my dream salon in the heart of Haworth!
​
I have 2 beautiful miniature poodles called Minnie and Maggie who are my absolute pride and joy!
​
Over the years my grooming career has seen me place 1st 2nd and 3rd at a few dog grooming competitions, along with working for a grooming suppliers company at Crufts every year.
​
I’m super precious about my own dogs and I like to treat all my clients dogs how I treat my own, with love and respect.

Our Grooming Services
The Full Pamper
Includes: A relaxing double shampoo, soft facial, blow dry, thorough brush out, full body styling to breed standard or your preference, ear cleaning, and nail clipping.
Best for: All dogs needing a complete transformation and regular maintenance every 6-8 weeks.

Bath & Tidy
Includes: A luxurious deep cleaning bath with premium shampoo, a professional blow dry, a full brush out, light trimming around eyes/feet, hygiene trim, ear cleaning, and a nail trim.
Best for: Shorter haired breeds or as an 'in-between' freshen up for long-haired dogs.

Bath & De-shed
Includes: Deep cleaning bath, blow dry, full brush out/ professional de-shedding treatment to remove loose undercoat, hygiene trim, ear cleaning, and nail clipping.
Best for: Double-coated and heavy-shedding short haired breeds who need extra help managing loose fur and keeping their coat healthy.
Puppy Introduction
Includes: A gentle introduction to the sights and sounds of the salon, a warm bath, slow blow dry, light trimming around eyes/feet, and lots of cuddles.
Best for: Puppies under 6 months old after their second vaccinations to build salon confidence.
